Program Overview – Project Management Office, Central Services
Straddling the divide between a traditional PMO and a Strategic Projects division, the Project Management Office delivers high impact and high-quality work, leading large-scale, enterprise-wide initiatives, including technology and product implementations, business transformation projects, strategic and operational planning, new business development and execution, and other priority work as identified by the Office of the CEO and the senior leadership team at WoodGreen. This position currently works in partnership with various units across the organization, to manage, maintain and evolve core software applications.
What You Will Do
- Develop and execute comprehensive change management strategies and plans that align with organizational objectives and support significant and/or enterprise-wide transformations in ways of working, technology, process or team structures.
- Ensure change initiatives stay on track, and on budget, managing end-to-end roadmap, workstreams and day-to-day activities.
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement, including discussion and decision-making at the senior leadership level.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement risk monitoring processes, identifying and escalating potential barriers to change; develop and implement risk mitigation plans as needed.
- Design and deliver training programs to equip impacted employees with skills and knowledge to embrace change.
- Provide ongoing support to staff in advance of, throughout and following change initiatives.
- Act as a business partner for leaders across the organizations, supporting supervisors, managers, Directors and VPs in leading their teams through change.
- Define success metrics and key performance indicators for change initiatives; stand up ongoing monitoring protocols to evaluate and report on progress and adjust plans as needed.
- Gather feedback from impacted or key stakeholders, and create alignment on paths forward.
- Build organizational readiness for change; develop clear, comprehensive and timely communication plans and resources, ensuring changes and impacts are understood and planned for across the organization.
- Create, maintain and leverage key documents, including, but not limited to, stakeholder assessments, user journey and process maps, project plans, training and development resources, communication plans, and other key artifacts as necessary.
- Foster a culture of change and continuous improvement across the organization; be a champion for change at all levels.
- Work collaboratively with key teams and roles across the organization, including People & Culture, the PMO and the Digital Transformation Team.
What You Bring to the Team
- 3-5 years experience in change management roles, with demonstrated growth into leadership roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, project management or change management or similar program, or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong understanding of change management principles and practices.
- Strong ability to develop and lead cross-functional change management initiatives.
- Strong ability to manage multiple workstreams and multi-discipline teams to achieve shared objectives.
- Drive and ability to learn quickly and effectively across a diverse range of teams and sectors.
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and influencing skills.
- Excellent relationship building and management skills, across all levels of an organization (from frontline staff to C-suite executives).
What Will Set You Apart
- High degree of comfort with Microsoft suite of products (PPT, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, etc.).
- Demonstrated ability to operate independently with sound decision-making skills.
- Experience in a matrixed reporting structure.
- Familiarity with PMBOK and ADKAR an asset.
