Kawartha Orthodontics is looking for an enthusiastic Certified Level II Dental Assistant to join our thriving practice in Peterborough, Ontario. In this vital role, you'll support the practice by guiding people through their orthodontic journey while contributing to our practice's growth and success.

Your Role
As a Certified Level II Dental Assistant, you’ll play a pivotal role in creating positive patient experiences and driving our practice’s success. Responsibilities include:
- Managing the patient experience through exceptional customer service skills.
- Taking intra-oral records and radiographs.
- Providing exceptional assisting skills to our clinical team.
- Performing Invisalign scans.
- Sterilizing instruments by adhering to the RCDSO infection control protocols.
- Providing oral health education to our patients and families.
- Performing other duties as required for the efficient operation of the practice.
- Working in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Successfully completed a Level 2 Dental Assistant Certificate.
- MUST have your NDAEB board exams written and possess active status.
- HARP certification.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite; proficiency with orthodontic management software systems is an asset.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written), with a proven ability to build strong relationships and rapport with patients, parents, doctors, fellow team members, and the community.
- Keen attention to detail and time management skills.
- Strong conflict resolution, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
