The Heavy-Duty Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of heavy-duty equipment, including loaders, forklifts, and other machinery used in our sawmill operations. This role requires technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a strong commitment to workplace safety.

Qualifications:
Red Seal Certification or equivalent qualification in Heavy Equipment Mechanics (preferred).
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a heavy-duty mechanic, preferably in a sawmill or industrial setting.
Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and diesel engines.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Experience using diagnostic software and tools.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if necessary.
