The College of New Caledonia is looking for qualified part-time instructors to deliver the CATHI Program – Community Ambassador in Tourism & Hospitality Industry. The successful candidate will instruct in one or more of the following areas:

  • Skills for Success
  • Management Skills for Supervisors
  • Work Readiness/Job Readiness
  • Tourism & Hospitality
  • Food Service
  • Indigenous Tourism
  • Customer Service
  • Event Planning
  • Marketing
  • Adventure Tourism
  • Financial Management
  • Hotel Services

Skills & Qualifications

  • A certificate, diploma or degree in a relevant field of study.
  • Teaching and work experience in relevant fields.
  • A Provincial Instructor Diploma would be considered an asset.
  • Knowledge and experience of Northern Indigenous communities would be an asset.
  • Experience working with individuals facing multiple barriers.

You will promote a positive work atmosphere and communicate in a professional manner that demonstrates mutual respect with students and colleagues.

You will be part of a team actively engaged in contributing to and accomplishing the vision, mission, and goals of the College and in supporting the aspirations and needs of our learners and communities.

Salary: $66.42 - $73.58 per hour, commensurate with qualifications and relevant experience.
