Job Summary
Location: Air Canada Head Office, Dorval
Now, if you were to come on board as our Catering Manager we’d ask you to do the following for us:
- Lead, mentor and develop the Events team.
- Conduct regular assessments of the business needs and guest services to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization within the concierge program.
- Responsible for managing the catering team including recruiting, hiring, training, performance management, progression planning and corrective action - ensure optimum utilization of all associates.
- Frequently reviewing and spot-checking Banquet Event Orders.
- Develop, monitor, and administer catering training cycles including onboarding for new associates, all programs, modules, workflow processes, and compliance.
- Manage the workplace catering program, responding promptly to inquiries via phone or email. Provide updates and orders to the hospitality and culinary teams as necessary.
- Oversee the Workplace Catering Program, the Executive Committee Catering Program and will lead the planning of Medium Sized Conferences and Signature Events.
- Collaborate closely with the Director, Event Bookings & Planning on large scale Signature Events and Conferences.
