The person acts as a Space Planning expert, to support business needs by building and enhancing planograms based on retailer POS sales and shopper insights for the Keurig Canada business and their partners. He or she liaises with Commercial Strategy & Sales functions to build customer recommendations in order to demonstrate our category leadership while maximizing our mutual volume and profit. This position reports to the Manager, Category Management (Coffee, Brewers and Accessories).
RESPONSIBILITIES
Support Key Account Managers in building planograms for the various Retailers in the coffee, brewers, and appliance markets and turn them into meaningful observations & solutions to stimulate category growth.
Work collaboratively with key internal stakeholders from Commercial Strategy or Sales ensuring internal strategic alignment on planogram recommendations.
Accountable for presenting planogram execution resulting in fact-based tactics that will drive the retailers’ Category and Keurig Canada sales growth.
Lead analysis collected from a range of different sources (ex. Nielsen, NPD, Shopper Intelligence) including also retailer databases (ex: Dunnhumby, IRI, LDIA). Identify business opportunities & recommendations.
Analyze, prepare, and present merchandising and assortment recommendations to key internal and external partners.
Bring forward suggested improvements in the data process (better, faster) that leads to decision making and enhances category leadership.
Support sales on any adhoc customer analysis.
QUALIFICATIONS
University degree in business, administration, or any other relevant field.
High proficiency in Planogram management software (JDA/Blue Yonder Space planning).
Minimum 1 year of experience in category management in consumer goods.
Experience with Nielsen (Workstation Plus, MarketTrack, Homescan, Connect Express).
Experience working with retailer POS/Loyalty databases (ex: Dunnhumby, IRI, LDIA) is an asset.
Advanced level of Excel.
Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Word and PowerPoint).
