GardaWorld is hiring Casual and Part Time Security Guards in Edmonton and surrounding areas. As a GardaWorld team member, your primary role is to ensure the safety and security of client assets, tenants, and visitors with professionalism and courtesy.
What is a Casual Security Guard?
Casual Security Guards adapt to various sites and work environments, gaining diverse experiences. One week you may work at an office tower, and the next at a community college, retail mall, or condominium. Hours are flexible, with the opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week.

What Does a Casual Security Guard Do?
Your responsibilities will vary based on the assigned site but may include:
Conducting routine patrols (interior, exterior, and parkades)
Professionally interacting with clients, customers, and visitors to resolve disputes
Enforcing site specific rules, such as access control, ID verification, and restricted area protocols
Maintaining a safe environment for yourself, clients, and the public
Qualifications & Experience
Valid Alberta Security Guard license
High School Diploma or equivalent
Legally entitled to work in Canada
Customer service experience
Proficiency with apps and technology
Criminal Justice or Police Foundations Diploma is an asset
