Cashier (Seaonal Contract)

Positions are available from March or April to the end of August, and students will work as seasonal contract employees in various cash stations as per business needs. The positions will be spread across four locations in the Halifax Regional Municipality (Dartmouth, Halifax, Lower Sackville), and students will be an important part of this drive.

As a Cashier, you are responsible for interacting with customers and managing all transactions efficiently and accurately while working with our computerized system.

Responsibilities

• Operate registers, scanners, and credit card/debit card terminals.
• Process refunds and assist with customer issues.
• Collect payments and bag purchases for customers.
• Keep the customer service area clean and orderly.
• Learn about our products and policies.
