Tasks:

1. Operate cash register
2. Process money, cheques and credit / debit card payments
3. Receive payment for goods or services
4. Calculate daily / shift payments received and reconcile with total sales
5. Accept reservations or take-out orders
6. Provide customer service
7. Assist customers with self-checkout
8. Monitor all entrances and exits, request proof of payment when necessary
