Jardeg is recruiting Journeyperson Carpenters for upcoming work at JCL Industrial Constructors to build the BHP Jansen Potash Mine near Leroy, SK. This work will begin January 30th.
The BHP Jansen Mine is a major potash project located in Saskatchewan. Potash, a potassium-rich mineral primarily used in fertilizers, is crucial for enhancing crop yields and supporting global agriculture. While commercial production at the mine is expected to start in 2026, once fully operational, the Jansen Mine is projected to produce approximately 4.35 million metric tons of potash annually, with the potential to expand to 16 million metric tons. This makes it one of the largest potash projects in the world.
