About the Role :

Cyderes is looking for a strong Senior Financial Analyst (SFA) to join our growing Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing company in a rapidly expanding Cybersecurity industry. The SFA will be responsible for acting as a business partner working with stakeholders across the organization to “explain the story behind the numbers.” Reporting to the Director FP&A, the SFA will have wide exposure to various facets of the business and special projects across the organization, in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities :

• Act as a Business Partner liaising between Finance and departments across the organization to explain “the story behind the numbers.”
• Prepare material, reports, and ad-hoc analysis to be presented to the highest levels of the organization.
• Lead meetings to present financial information in a manner clear to non-financial stakeholders.
• Create ad-hoc analysis to address concerns or answer queries generated by management.
• Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and periodic forecasts.
• Create and distribute standard periodic internal reporting across the organization.
• Assist in the execution of special projects within Finance.
• Search for opportunities within finance to create efficiencies, improve reporting, and incorporate automation / best practices.

Requirements :

• Self-starter with the ability to deliver high-quality work with minimal supervision.
• High financial acumen with the ability to communicate / present clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
• 3-5 years of progressive work experience in accounting / financial planning and analysis.
• Strong systems insights with prior experience of system implementation / conversion considered an asset.
• Professional designation or MBA (preferred, not required).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail.
• Self-motivated and driven, ability to challenge the status quo.
• Adapt quickly to changing priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
