In exchange, we ask you to:

• Demonstrate skills in the safe operation of hand and power tools, including (but not limited to) temporary generators, ladders, table saws, routers and sanding equipment.
• Erect and disassemble scaffolding
• Assist with demolition and debris disposal
• Be experienced in preparing material take-offs and reading blueprints
• Set up and take down poly containment and drop sheets to accommodate work
• Be knowledgeable in building code and construction math
• Have intermediate to advanced experience in installation of insulation and vapor barrier
• Have intermediate to advanced experience in wood and steel stud framing application
• Have intermediate to advanced experience in finish carpentry skills including cutting and installing wood framing, trim, baseboard, casing, window/doors, frames, drywall/mud/tape/finish coat, painting and sheathing
• Secure exterior building materials (roofing and siding) when required
• Construct and secure temporary and permanent partitions
• Work under time constraints to meet specific timelines

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years in the field
• Construction / Restoration / Insurance experience preferred
• Ability to work within a team or independently as needed
• Self-driven to achieve goals and meet deadlines
• Eligible to operate a motor vehicle per BELFOR’s vehicle policy
• Willing to work nights and weekends when requested
• Periodic travel may be required
• Criminal Record Check
