Caregiver

Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of personal care. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This role involves working closely with clients at their home.

Hard working caregivers get lots of hours! We work with caregivers' schedules. We are a busy company and need caregivers that can take on regular clients on a weekly basis. The more clients you take on, the busier you are.

Ability to speak and write well in English needed.

Requirements:

1. Smartphone savvy for use during shifts to clock in and out and do visit notes.
2. Complete a criminal record check.
3. Consistent job performance & attendance our clients can rely on.
4. Reliable transportation.
5. Professional demeanor and respectful attitude.
6. Ability to perform basic housekeeping + meal prep tasks.
7. Home support worker certification preferred (but not necessary).
8. Flexible availability.
9. Previous caregiving and/or elder care experience.
10. 1+ professional references.
11. Resides in BC.

Caregiver Tasks Include:

1. Meal prep + planning.
2. Dementia Care/Companionship.
3. Housekeeping (including laundry).
4. Personal care + hygiene.
5. Errands and grocery shopping.
6. Medication routines.
7. Quality time + companionship.
8. Helping with exercises.
