Under the direction of the Manager, Membership Administration, the incumbent oversees all aspects of the Membership Administration Section. The job functions include coordinating, administrating, leading, planning, implementing and evaluating the Section in order to meet the requirements and needs of the organization pertaining to membership administration.
The position oversees dues accounting, including the collection and distribution of over $140M per year as well as dues adjustments, including the calculation of refunds and arrears recovery and the adherence to PSAC policies.
The position is the administrator of the organization’s membership database and oversees accuracy of the different non-financial and financial data processes related to the membership and their dues. The position is also the administrator of the organization’s application for the membership card process and archive.
• Second language skills as per the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) level indicated above. Federal Government valid SLE results can be used toward this.
Preferred candidates may have their second language skills assessed as part of the hiring process.
• Experience and formal training combined with demonstrated performance and ability may substitute for stipulated academic requirements.
