Job Description

We are hiring a Canadian based HR & Recruiting Specialist to join us in either our Montreal or Toronto offices to support our Talent Team functions. In this role, you will support the Talent team in areas such as recruiting (both campus and experienced hire), employee onboarding, employee recognition, and HR policies and procedures. You will interact closely with Talent Team members across North America.

This role will support a population of 250+ colleagues and is a great opportunity to join a growing business and a passionate Talent team.

Qualifications

Recruiting Responsibilities
  • Work closely with North American Recruiting Team colleagues on executing recruiting efforts for our Montreal and Toronto offices at both the campus and experienced professional level
  • Collaborate with Recruiting Team and Client Team leads to understand Roland Berger's talent position, identify gaps, and build short and long-term recruiting strategies
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key contacts at target schools in Canada including career services, academic faculty, and student organizations
  • Promote Roland Berger's brand and image at target schools
  • Implement sourcing strategies to identify high potential candidates
  • Coordinate key recruiting and onboarding activities, including candidate interviews, campus interviews/events, decision meetings and onboarding
  • Partner with Canadian consultants to manage campus attraction efforts and execution of events
  • Collect and store interviewer feedback
  • Coordinate creation and sending of contracts to new hires
  • Execute all aspects of the summer internship program in Canadian offices (onboarding; evaluations; events; etc.)
  • Other duties as assigned
Human Resources Responsibilities
  • Support the onboarding and exit offboarding experience for all new hires and transfers into Canada offices
  • Conduct new hire orientation, including company overview and introduction to employee HR activities
  • Support employee recognition and engagement programs
  • Support in administrative tasks across the performance review and compensation processes
  • Own HR metrics and reporting and compile reports for leadership as needed
  • Assist with the administration of HR processes and systems, ensuring data integrity and compliance
  • Provide back-up support for across HR teams
  • Support HR projects, working closely with Manager and other HR team members
  • Ensure the implementation of corporate policies and assist in the creation and execution of Canadian specific policies and programs, where applicable adapt them to the Canadian context, where needed
  • Provide HR policy guidance, business practices and procedures in the Canada offices
  • Partner closely with the Talent Development team in proactively managing employee matters
  • Collaborate with the Americas HR and Corporate HR functions
  • Maintain an active presence in the Montreal and Toronto offices
  • Demonstrate strong business acumen and ability to learn about the Roland Berger business
  • Support global mobility activities
  • May provide additional office support, as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Fluency in English and French
  • Minimum of 3 years full-cycle university recruiting experience
  • Proficiency with job posting and sourcing resources (LinkedIn, Handshake, etc.)
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS)
  • A passion for identifying talent and building high caliber teams
  • Demonstrated relationship management skills at all levels of the organization
  • Experience working in HRIS systems, analyzing employee data, reporting, and tracking HR metrics
  • Knowledge of Canadian specific employment law, guidelines and policies preferred
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
