Job Title: Canada Summer Student Work Program - Student Information Clerk (Casual)

Position Details:
The Student Enrolment and Registrar Services (SEARS) Office requires the services of 2 full-time casual Student Information Clerks to commence work in the SEARS Office. These are 2-month full-time temporary positions.
The first position will commence work on May 1, 2025 and end on June 30, 2025. The second position will commence work on July 2, 2025 and end on August 29, 2025.
Students, staff, and faculty need a friendly person to answer their questions in a direct, clear, confident, and professional manner. The SEARS Office is the primary point of contact for students and the community to receive reliable information, support, and advice on a wide range of topics. The SEARS Office is the public face for the University of Lethbridge services. The SEARS Office is the students’ problem-solving destination. As an Information Clerk, you will assist students through their entire education cycle from application to convocation.
This is a customer service position delivering front-line service to students, staff, faculty, and the public. The successful candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills and will be responsible for fielding inquiries and communicating information regarding university policy and procedures pertaining to a variety of areas (including but not limited to) timetabling, admissions and registration processes. These inquiries may be in person, via email or by telephone. Other duties include processing data entry, operating a multi-line phone system, assistance to other units in the SEARS Office and additional duties as assigned.
Hourly Rate of Pay: $25.67.
