About the opportunity:
The Campus Recruitment Lead is responsible for defining and executing targeted campus recruitment strategies to attract and retain the talent required to meet current and future business needs. The incumbent acts as the subject matter expert on all matters related to attracting and retaining early talent, manages all current campus recruitment programs as well as identifies new initiatives/partnership or program opportunities to meet early talent/succession planning hiring needs nationally.
The attributes we are looking for:
- Collaborate with business leaders and the Director of Talent Acquisition to develop campus recruitment strategies to attract students and new graduates, building early talent pipelines aligned with the organization’s short- and long-term talent resource plans.
- Build a targeted campus employer brand to engage and attract students and establish employer branded campaigns/talent attraction plans at core schools.
- Identify targeted core schools with programs of special interest to meet the talent needs of the company and establish roadmaps/plans to build strategic partnerships including on-campus engagements and sponsorship opportunities.
- Program management – optimize current programs and establish new campus initiatives/programs to meet short-term talent hiring needs and align with long-term succession plans.
- Optimize the talent attraction plans to increase student application & enrollment in programs, including building relationships and networks internally with business leaders/HR representatives and educational institutions to introduce Lactalis Canada virtually and on-site to promote Campus Recruitment initiatives.
- Lead new diversity & inclusion initiatives & programs into campus recruitment strategy and partner with the DE&I Council and the Director, TA and Director OD.
- Identify and partner with internal business stakeholders and executive sponsors to ensure advocacy, investment, and deliverables align with business priorities.
- Partner with global stakeholders including the Lactalis France talent team and international schools on the recruitment, selection, and onboarding/placement of students into global programs.
- Develop student recruitment plans by department in conjunction with leaders/hiring managers and Human Resources to ensure timely on-campus engagement and hiring decisions.
- Partner with the TA Specialists to leverage student pipelines for consideration on entry-level or succession plan positions to increase student hiring.
- Collaborate with TA Specialists developing talent attraction strategies and on-campus engagements that align with experienced hire recruiting objectives.
- Establish new candidate pre-screening processes & capabilities through process optimization road maps and consider new technology enablers (i.e., leveraging AI).
- Design, implement, and maintain a robust student onboarding experience with high engagement through activities such as plant tours, social initiatives, volunteer events, case competitions, and networking information sessions with Executives.
- Seek new opportunities to road map student recruitment/hiring conversion planning and discussions aligned with budget planning and succession plans across all areas of the business.
- Partner with HR, OD, and Business leaders to build recruitment strategies to support new management trainee programs, leadership development programs.
- Develop, implement, and monitor quantitative and qualitative data on the company’s performance (KPIs) as it relates to attracting and retaining early talent and best practices.
- Build reporting cadences and distribution to improve management and visibility of campus programs/recruitment activities.
- Build PowerPoint presentations to report & engage with business stakeholders to improve planning, communications, and deliverables on key action items.
What you will bring:
Education & Experience
- University degree (or equivalent level of work experience).
- Post-secondary degree/diploma preferably in Human Resources, Sociology, Psychology, or Business Administration.
- Fully bilingual French/English.
- Minimum 7 - 10 years’ experience in Talent Acquisition, preferably CPG & manufacturing industry experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Built & managed campus recruitment programs – QUE & ON regional experience required.
- ATS experience – SuccessFactors preferred.
- Social media and tech-savvy – LinkedIn.
- Strong business acumen to build partnerships and influence stakeholders (up to senior/executive level).
- Innovative thinking with the ability to deliver continuous improvement initiatives.
- Experience leading direct reports and project teams 2 - 3 years preferred.
- Fully bilingual French/English.
- MS Office proficiency.
