This position is responsible for the preparation of CAD work involving detailed files, survey interpretation, and a variety of reference data.
Job Responsibilities
Import and process field data
Prepare Legal and Topographic Surveys
Provide calculations to field staff
Interact with field staff to ensure proper configuration of data/sketches and conformity with local By-Laws, Registry Office information and client specifications
Liaise with project supervisors regarding plan details
Maintain accurate records, timesheets and other files pertaining to the job
Qualifications
Education in Survey, Civil or CAD program, or 2+ years of Land Surveying or CAD experience is preferred
Detail oriented, with the ability to read and understand Architectural and Structural design drawings
Strong communication skills
Ability to learn new field and office surveying techniques
Experience with Microstation is an asset
