Position Overview:
As a CAD Technician, you will play a crucial role in drafting and preparing technical plans to support our survey and engineering projects. Your expertise will contribute to the development of survey plans, subdivision plans, and conceptual site plans that may include street layouts, grading, and rezoning documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft survey plans and subdivision layouts in compliance with local regulations and standards.
- Create conceptual site plans for detailed street designs, grading plans, and rezoning applications.
- Collaborate with civil engineers and surveyors to ensure accuracy and completeness of technical drawings.
- Review and incorporate feedback from project stakeholders and regulatory agencies.
- Maintain organized records of project files, drawings, and revisions.
- Stay updated on industry standards, software advancements, and best practices in CAD drafting.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree or equivalent experience in CAD drafting, civil engineering technology, or a related field will be considered a benefit.
- Proficient in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D) and other relevant design tools will be considered a benefit.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in technical drawings.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
