CAD/Revit Project Manager

LASERTECH Floorplans is a building surveying company that creates as-built data of existing buildings across Canada and USA. We are committed to providing our clients with highly accurate as-built data in both 2D and 3D formats.

The CAD/REVIT Project Manager is a key position at LASERTECH Floorplans requiring a person capable of managing and instructing our building surveyors and directing our third party CAD/REVIT processors, ensuring delivery of our products to our clients in a timely and efficient manner. Quality control will be a major responsibility of the successful applicant.

In order to fully understand the lifecycle of our projects, the CAD/Revit project manager will also be trained on our surveying process, methodology, and proprietary software and will be required to perform small local as-built field surveys on occasion.

This full-time position enjoys a competitive salary and benefits package, upon successful completion of a 3 month probationary period. Immediate availability desirable.

Required qualifications include:

• Demonstrated expert knowledge of AutoCAD (architectural applications)
• Demonstrated expert knowledge of Revit (architectural, mechanical, structural, and piping applications)
• Proficiency with or ability to become proficient in Microsoft 365 products, including OneDrive and Sharepoint
• Highly detail-oriented person is a requirement
• Supervisory and project management experience
• Effective communication skills (written and oral)
• Ability to travel for the occasional small as-built survey around Vancouver Island and Lower mainland.

Desirable qualifications include:

• Experience with construction as-builts, architectural drafting and building construction methods
• Experience with 3D laser scanning, particularly modeling scan data in Revit environment
• Experience in quality control of CAD/Revit projects
• Knowledge of Architectural CAD Standards, and general Architectural knowledge and terminology.
• Knowledge of BOMA Standards and its application in commercial leasing

Please note this is an ongoing full-time position; we started with a 3 month probationary contract position, to convert to full-time employee position with full benefits for suitable applicant.

Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
