1. Read blueprints to determine work requirements
2. Develop and prepare design sketches
3. Write technical reports
4. Write specifications
5. Complete documentation packages and drawing sets
6. Consult with client, engineers or production specialists to establish product requirements
7. Conduct preventive maintenance programs
8. Assist in preparing design, drawings and specifications
9. Develop maintenance standards, schedules and programs
