Tasks

1. Move tools, equipment and other materials
2. Hold stakes during surveying activities
3. Signal safety procedures to other workers and to the general public
4. Help tradespersons, apprentices and other workers as directed
5. Clean machines and immediate work areas
6. Perform other labouring and elemental activities
7. Install underground wiring and cables
8. Assist in constructing underground installations
