Excellent opportunity for an experienced Buyer to join one of the largest manufacturing companies in Trois Rivieres!

Description

• They are going over their queue to review what Reqs are opened.
• The PO they create are all done in SAP.
• When placing PO, they will be working with 90% of current suppliers and 10% they will need to source for new suppliers.
• They will be working with sourcing team when sourcing for new suppliers and working on the RFQ (ad hoc).
• When they enter a PO in SAP, they need to follow up on deliver parts, cost and lead time.
• It will be their responsibility to build relationships with the suppliers.
• They will need to escalate to project manager any outstanding or late orders.
• They will send open order report every week.
• They will also support any reviews with suppliers – providing performance data.
• Ensure whatever is in system with sales that they are following up with suppliers and look forward to future orders to ensure sales targets are being met (order fulfillment).
• Basic knowledge negotiation, not part of core procurement, but negotiation with suppliers, be able to challenge suppliers, price breaks for continuous, multiple quantities, etc.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Must haves:

• 2-3+ years of buying experience.
• Bilingual.
• SAP experience.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr.
