Insight Global is looking for a Senior Project Analyst / BSA to join one of the top banks Downtown Toronto within their Securities division. In this role, advanced data manipulation skills are necessary, with the ability to investigate and derive findings and conclusions from large data sets. This capability will be essential for analyzing market data, identifying trends, and making data-driven decisions that enhance the functionality and performance of the developed products. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth risk knowledge, with market risk knowledge being preferred, and have familiarity with Python and/or other data analytics tools to analyze data and develop robust solutions. Preference will be given to candidates with capital markets experience as this expertise will be crucial in understanding and managing the risks associated with trading activities and ensuring accurate valuation of financial instruments. Strong communication and organizational skills are required. These skills will help in managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, ensuring that all aspects of the development process are well-coordinated and executed smoothly.

Required Skills:

• 2+ years of relevant experience in Python for data analysis
• Market, liquidity, or counter-party credit risk knowledge
• Experience working with large data sets
• Strong Excel skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Familiarity with Fundamental Review of the Trading Book (FRTB) Standardized Approach
• Capital markets knowledge or experience
