Your contribution!
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) aligns business objectives with employee and management needs for a designated region. Provides guidance on a wide scope of human resource issues: employee relations, performance management, employee retention, onboarding, offboarding, policy interpretation and employment law compliance.
Your day-to-day!
- Build partnerships with all levels of employees within the organization, particularly with managers to provide guidance in managing their employees.
- Coach and advise staff on solving problems and implementing resolutions for performance management challenges; provide guidance on corrective actions, corporate policy interpretation, and other workplace human resources challenges.
- Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures and workforce planning.
- Participate in optimizing employee engagement and mobilization and ensure a positive working environment.
- Participate in the review, deployment, coordination and ensuring the monitoring of innovative programs relating to workforce planning, job evaluation, onboarding, performance management, talent management and succession and development of employee and leadership skills.
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations. Participate and support the documentation of investigations of workplace complaints and allegations such as discrimination, harassment, retaliation, hostile work environment, and policy violations.
Your skills, our requirements!
- Demonstrated experience as a trusted partner and team player who prioritizes collaboration, builds trust quickly, listens attentively and values diversity.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources.
- At least 7 years of experience in Human Resources.
- Professional HR certification, an asset.
- Self-directed and proactive.
- Demonstrated ability to work well independently and navigate within a fast-paced matrix environment within a context of growth.
- Demonstrated skills in consulting with leaders and coaching performance.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Bilingualism (French and English, written and spoken) is required to ensure collaboration with different stakeholders outside of Québec on a regular basis.
- Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and federal, provincial and state respective employment laws.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders across the organization.

- The position is based in the company's Longueuil (Quebec) headquarters.
- This position is for a duration of 12 months.
- This position is a P3 level.
