Are you a Lawyer, Legal Secretary or Paralegal with a passion for the legal industry but looking to pivot into a fast-growing, dynamic tech environment? As part of our Sales Team, you'll use your understanding of the legal landscape to communicate with law firms, helping them understand how LEAP’s software can improve their operations. Whether you’re working with existing clients or introducing our solutions to new law firms, you’ll help grow our client base by showcasing LEAP’s market-leading software.

We are seeking a Business Development Representative to join our motivated, high-velocity, and growing team based in Toronto. LEAP will provide you with the best training, equipment, and support to ensure your success.

This role will be hybrid, working in the office 3 times a week once our new Toronto office is established.

The working hours will be 11 AM – 7 PM EST.

WHY YOUR LEGAL EXPERIENCE MATTERS

  • Your familiarity with the legal profession will give you a unique edge when communicating with attorneys and law firms.
  • You’ll leverage your understanding of legal processes to effectively articulate how LEAP’s solutions can streamline law firm operations.
  • Your legal background will help you build trust and rapport with legal professionals, making you a credible advocate for our software.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Conduct outbound calls to law firms to introduce and discuss LEAP’s software.
  • Use your legal knowledge to generate qualified leads and schedule meetings for our Business Development team.
  • Build strong relationships with law firms through platforms like LinkedIn and Sales Navigator.
  • Achieve and exceed weekly and monthly targets, contributing to team success.
  • Bring passion, persistence, and a human touch to every client interaction.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • Experience in the legal sector as a Legal Secretary, Paralegal, or similar role.
  • Excellent communication skills and a natural ability to connect with legal professionals.
  • Familiarity with legal operations and workflows, enabling you to speak the same language as our clients.
  • A high level of organization, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Resilience, determination, and a desire to grow within a fast-paced sales environment.
