Job description

Your Role: Business Development Representative

We’re looking for a self-motivated and creative Business Development Representative to help accelerate our growing Creators business. As the first touchpoint for prospects, you’ll play a critical role in educating potential customers, sparking curiosity, and generating pipeline for our sales team.

You’ll engage with destination marketing organizations (DMOs), state tourism offices, and other travel brands — helping them see how Creators can solve one of their biggest problems: having enough fresh, local, and platform-ready visual content.

What you'll do:
  • Generate pipeline: Generate qualified opportunities by engaging inbound leads and conducting targeted outbound outreach
  • Prospect creatively: Research and identify prospects who would benefit from our creator-powered content model
  • Own the first impression: Deliver compelling messaging through cold calls, personalized emails, and LinkedIn outreach
  • Qualify leads with care: Use BANT to ensure every meeting handed off to an AE is well-positioned for success
  • Collaborate across the team: Work with Marketing on campaign follow-ups and with Customer Success to understand real customer use cases
  • Attend events: Occasionally attend virtual and in-person travel conferences or webinars to build relationships with potential customers
  • Report consistently: Track your pipeline, activities, and results in tools like Salesforce, Outreach, and Hubspot
Ideally you'll have:
  • 1+ years in top-of-the-funnel inbound and outbound sales (open to recent grads)
  • Experience in a startup, SaaS company, SMB clients or the tourism industry are assets
  • Strong communication skills-written and verbal — you’re persuasive and friendly, not pushy
  • Being organized, self-starting, and motivated to hit goals (and celebrate them with your team)
  • Passion for the travel industry, local storytelling, or digital media
Nice to have:
  • BDR/SDR experience in SaaS, travel/tourism, or creator/influencer marketing
  • Familiarity with the creator economy or short-form video trends
  • Bring creativity to your outreach — you enjoy experimenting with new ways to connect
  • Enthusiasm about the idea of helping a newer product scale fast within a trusted brand
