Agilus is recruiting for a Business Development Representative in the property damage restoration industry in London, Ontario.

A typical day:

  1. Drive business development efforts by conducting outside sales (80%) and inside sales/research (20%), while utilizing CRM tools to track leads, manage sales activities, and monitor performance.
  2. Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication, follow-up, and market research to identify new opportunities and trends.
  3. Complete all necessary documentation accurately and on time, including PSA, CRM entries, marketing sheets, tracking sheets, and customer surveys.
  4. Serve as a liaison between clients and internal staff, ensuring effective communication and maintaining ongoing customer relations to foster long-term partnerships.
  5. Follow up on marketing efforts, share outcomes with stakeholders, and execute campaigns including email, social media, and vendor coordination.
  6. Execute marketing campaigns, including email, social media, and coordination with vendors for communication distribution.
  7. Source and build new relationships, anticipating client needs while staying informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify growth opportunities.
  8. Develop innovative business development and sales strategies to drive growth and stay ahead of market demands.

The successful candidate brings:

  1. Minimum 3 years of experience in outside sales or business development (BD).
  2. Experience or exposure to the restoration industry, with a background in insurance or construction and understanding of the restoration process.
  3. Strong client-facing experience with excellent communication and presentation skills.
  4. Proven track record in sales with the ability to influence and negotiate with decision-makers.
  5. Secondary School diploma (preferred).
  6. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (experience with CRM preferred).
  7. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and confidently.
  8. Driving Licence (required).
