What do we look for?

We’re looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our dynamic global sales team. You’ll bring high energy, a proactive approach, and a passion for driving new business opportunities in the recruitment services industry.

At Carv, we're at the forefront of developing cutting-edge SaaS solutions tailored for the recruitment services sector. Our platform empowers recruitment agencies and in-house teams to optimize operations, eliminate administrative burdens, and deliver unparalleled value to their clients.

The team

Carv.com was founded by an experienced team that previously built and exited a disruptive recruitment technology company. After witnessing firsthand how AI could transform the recruitment landscape, the initial idea for Carv was born.

You will be joining a dynamic and collaborative team of professionals with diverse backgrounds and expertise who are passionate about building a product that will soon be used by millions of users. Our culture is rooted in innovation, continuous learning, and a focus on delivering value to customers while driving business growth.

What will you be doing?

  1. Prospecting & outreach: Identify and engage potential clients through strategic outbound efforts, including cold calling, email campaigns, and social selling.
  2. Lead qualification: Conduct initial discovery calls to understand client needs, qualify leads, and determine fit before passing them to Account Executives.
  3. Market research: Stay informed about trends in the recruitment services and SaaS industries to identify opportunities and tailor outreach strategies.
  4. Collaboration with sales & marketing: Work closely with Account Executives and marketing teams to refine messaging, improve conversion rates, and ensure a smooth handover of qualified leads.
  5. CRM management: Maintain accurate records of prospect interactions, pipeline status, and follow-ups in our CRM system.
  6. Target achievement: Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly KPIs for outreach, qualified leads, and booked meetings.

Minimum Requirements

Tech-savvy:

  • Comfortable using modern sales tech stacks (e.g., Salesforce, Hubspot, Klay, Gong, SalesLoft/Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
  • Quick learner with an ability to adapt to new tools and platforms.
  • Ability to personalize outreach using AI and automation tools effectively.

Resilience:

  • Thrives on outbound prospecting, smiling and dialing.
  • Excited by engaging new prospects and handling objections with confidence.

Strong communication & persuasion skills:

  • Ability to articulate Carv's value proposition clearly and concisely.
  • Active listening skills to understand customer pain points and tailor messaging.
  • Goal-oriented mindset with the ability to turn rejections into opportunities.

Competitive & self-motivated:

  • Driven to exceed quotas and continuously improve performance.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
