Redstone Commodity Search focuses on offering 360° search solutions to the global commodities markets. With competitive coverage of Trading Houses, Producers, Majors, Utilities, Merchants, Hedge Funds, Investment Banks, and Brokerages, Redstone Commodity Search can confidently offer you an edge in today’s volatile market. We are working with an international commodities trading house looking to hire a Business Development Manager to set up a desk in the US.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

  • Responsible for developing and growing the Nuts trading portfolio across the US.
  • Generate business within new and currently untapped markets; be the go-to person for the expansion of this division.
  • Establish KPIs, build and structure a team to ensure the full trade process runs smoothly.
  • Conduct expert market research and analysis on the Nuts industry to create and execute effective strategies.
  • Role reports to CEO.

Key Qualifications / Experience

  • 5+ years’ experience within a commercial and business development position within Agriculture products, with management experience being a plus.
  • Experience with Nuts such as cashew kernel, walnut, and almond is required.
  • Previous proven experience of setting up a new desk is an advantage.
  • Bachelor or higher qualification in trading is required.
  • Role to be based in East Coast, US.
