Business Development Manager - Food or Pharmaceuticals

Food Manufacturing / Pharmaceutical Industry Business Development Manager – AI Digital Environment Improvement Products, required to cover UK initially, with route to expand into Europe. c£75K OTE (£50K base + Commission), Car, Pension, Great prospects – Work from home.

Our client is a global provider of pest control solutions, meeting both professional and consumer needs with a broad span of products and brands.

Their newly developed AI driven Digital Pest Control products are a game-changer in the industry. The Business Development Manager will develop critical relationships with Food & Beverage / Pharmaceutical end-users and will work with service providers to accelerate brand sales throughout industry.

Business Development Manager requirements:

  1. Experience of or demonstrable suitability for a business development leadership role with deep and current experience and contacts in the food and / or pharmaceutical industries.
  2. An inspiring style that understands the psyche of talented B2B sales professionals and is able to flex both a supportive and challenging style as appropriate.
  3. Direct experience of winning new customers in the food and pharma industries and achieving considerable growth with existing customers.
  4. Excellent verbal/written communication skills, strong analytics, and real-time judgment.
  5. Skilled in the use of D365 or Salesforce.
  6. Pricing and profitability analysis experience and knowledge.
  7. Proven skills in collaborating positively with colleagues in a broad range of roles.
  8. Effective time management and organisational skills.
  9. A willingness and ability to travel within their region.
  10. Strong drive to achieve ambitious sales performance goals.
