Job description

We’re in need of a Business Development Manager to join our Rally division. Rally’s digital products for school districts are market-tested and ready to scale, and we’re in need of an experienced sales professional to plan and execute our commercialization processes and strategies. If that sounds like you, we’d love to talk.

About Box Clever

Box Clever is an award-winning web design company based in Alberta, that operates out of four divisions. Our growing Rally division specializes in websites, apps and communication software for K-12 school districts and schools. Our products are used by over 60% of the school divisions in Alberta and we have clients across Canada and into the USA.

We're a friendly, collaborative, and welcoming team of people that love what we do — building exceptional digital communication products for school districts. We work in a bright and spacious office, complete with a large patio for sunny meetings, and easy access to walking trails for a lunchtime stroll.

About The Role

As our Business Development Manager you will be instrumental in designing Rally's sales processes from the ground up. Your responsibilities will include creating, implementing and executing our sales plan while continuously assessing and recommending processes and staffing requirements to support ongoing success. You will conduct thorough research on K-12 markets across Canada and the USA, developing effective market entry strategies. You will build connections with decision-makers in target markets as you pitch our products and secure new business opportunities.

Our team works on a hybrid model, with a mixture of in-office days at our headquarters in Sherwood Park, AB and optional remote work days. The position will involve some travel within North America.

  • Collaborate with our Marketing and Accounts teams to align sales efforts with organizational goals.
  • Explore potential partnerships with complementary brands in the K-12 space.
