What will you be doing:

Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, we are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Executive to support our Distributor Market. This role involves managing the full sales cycle from qualifying and nurturing leads to closing deals. You will oversee existing customer relationships, while also contributing to business development initiatives, including lead generation, nurturing relationships, product and technology presentations, and participating in tradeshows and client events.

Responsibilities include:

  • Responding to and qualifying incoming leads.
  • Conduct prospecting activities, including cold calling, cold emailing, LinkedIn outreach and seeking referrals.
  • Present products and software to prospects and existing clients.
  • Utilize CRM tools to track activities and progress toward sales goals.
  • Set regular tasks and follow-ups with leads until they are qualified and sales-ready.
  • Collaborate with sales & marketing teams to develop strategies for reaching targets.
  • Support marketing efforts with lead generation initiatives, including list-building and outreach campaigns, call campaigns, trade shows, and conferences.
  • Work closely with the Sales Manager to identify potential customers and create new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to facilitate order fulfillment.
  • Stay up to date with new products and services.
  • Continuously develop, refine, and enhance sales skills.
  • Attend trade shows, conferences, and activations to build relationships and generate leads.
  • Provide regular reports and progress updates to the team.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven business development success through using core sales tools, including Zoho.
  • Has 3+ years of B2B sales or marketing experience.
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls).
  • Track record of achieving quotas.
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics.
  • Experience with CRM management.
  • Strong storytelling and presentation skills. Great communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to project manage, problem-solve, and build internal and external relationships.
  • Self-starter. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Results-driven. Striving to make things happen in line with goals and priorities.
  • Attention to detail. Achieving thoroughness and accuracy when accomplishing a task, including proofreading.
  • Always learning. Eager to learn and looking to evolve and progress in your role.
  • A demonstrated passion for sustainability and social responsibility.
  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or other related fields with proven success.

Experience that may set you apart:

  • Experience working in the Distributor/Promotional Market.
  • Experience selling SAAS.
  • Proficiency with Zoho or an equivalent CRM.
  • Strong objection handling and negotiation skills.
  • Strong content (storytelling) writing and copywriting.
  • A demonstrated passion for sustainability and social responsibility.

Schedule:

  • 8 hours daily (Flex-time Policy - Flexible start and end time).
  • Regular travel is required.
