Canadian Blood Services is looking for a Regular full-time Business Development Manager to join our dynamic Donor Relations & Field Operations team.
The Donor Relations & Field Operations team is responsible for supporting Canadian Blood Services by collecting plasma in a safe manner to enable safe products which save lives every day. In this role, you will be responsible for generating and identifying leads, building a pipeline of potential donors, building relationships and ensuring the growth and maintenance of a high-quality, committed donor base. You will be responsible for community engagement and maintaining a good public image for the donation centre to ensure there is ongoing public support.
Developing and implementing a strong action plan supported by comprehensive data analysis and applying business development techniques based on interactions and results in the field to ensure that the collection and donor base goals are being achieved.
While conducting in-community engagement sessions, the Business Development Manager will keep prospective and current donors appraised of any improvements or changes to the donor centre or eligibility criteria.
Using your networking and social media skills, recruits and onboards ambassador/volunteers within the community who will support donor recruitment and retention.
Utilizing established change management processes along with your Continuous Improvement Skills, you will develop strategic plans for donor recruitment and retention in conjunction with the plasma donor centre manager while ensuring that there is a focus on financial and material resources.
