The Role

The Business Development Leader’s role is to be a player/coach in building The Instant Group’s new client base in the West. This role will engage with prospective clients at a functional leader or C-suite level, identifying value to their businesses through our flexible workspace solutions and ensuring world-class service.

What will you be doing?

  • Own and achieve/exceed annual sales targets to expand our client base within established territory
  • Become an expert at articulating our value propositions and communicate them effectively through presentations and proposals
  • Execute and evolve our strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand Instant’s customer base
  • Network effectively within geographic territory to establish expertise in the flexible space industry
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Understand market and industry landscapes and trends
  • Work cross-functionally, collaborating with sales and marketing teams, and product owners
  • Ensure operational excellence in the day-to-day management of the business including forecasting and managing sales pipeline
  • Develop and implement best practices to maximize pipeline creation, conversion rates, forecasting accuracy, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Ultimately lead and grow a team of business development professionals

  • Proven sales leadership experience, meeting or exceeding targets to drive new business and developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions
  • Previous experience as a sales executive, sales manager, or sales and marketing director
  • Ability to communicate, present, and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
  • Proven ability to drive sales processes from plan to close
  • Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services
