Business Development Specialist

Adecco is currently hiring a full-time enthusiastic and motivated Business Development Specialist to join our client's team in North York, ON! This role involves building and nurturing customer relationships, generating new business opportunities, and supporting customer engagement strategies.

Job Type: Long Term | Full-time

Responsibilities:

  1. Communicate effectively by telephone and email with customers (both inbound and outbound communication).
  2. Guaranteeing excellent, high-quality communication for all PCNT customers.
  3. Schedule service and maintenance retention appointments.
  4. Answer inbound calls and respond to all customer inquiries and all web leads promptly and effectively to company standards.
  5. Coordinate internal work, liaison with Service, Parts, and Sales Department staff.
  6. Correspond with clients and prospective clients by utilizing established dealership templates to communicate with customers by email and telephone.
  7. Utilize dealership call scripts for all inbound and outbound service calls.
  8. Update information regarding all scheduled and confirmed appointments with the customers.
  9. Accomplish all daily, weekly, and monthly goals as established by the Business Development Center Manager (BDCM).
  10. Streamline the Business Development Center Manager with information regarding all verbal communication with customers.
  11. Document information in the Appointment Log when an appointment is scheduled.
  12. Study products and services to continually enhance ability to assist customers.
  13. Communicate with the Business Development Center Manager about any potential customer issues or problems.
  14. Perform all outbound campaigns as periodically assigned by the Business Development Center Manager.
  15. Perform service administrative duties as requested by the Business Development Center Manager.
  16. Other duties as required by management.

Qualifications:

  1. Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada.
  2. A High School Diploma or bachelor's degree is required.
  3. 1-2 years of dealership experience is an asset.
  4. Excellent customer service skills with enthusiastic and friendly demeanor.
  5. Able to work well under pressure.
  6. Strong attention to detail will be required.
  7. Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times.
  8. Ability to analyze and interpret the needs of clients and offer the appropriate options, solutions, and resolutions required.
  9. Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment.
  10. Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
  11. Ability to perform multiple duties in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
  12. Must have a results-oriented mindset to succeed.
  13. Willing to work as a member of a team and interact with others in a professional and courteous manner.
  14. Bilingual in both Mandarin and English would be an asset.
