Business Analyst - SAP Modernization - Testing Support

Location of Work: Halifax

Remote Work: Hybrid, 2 days on-site in Halifax per week

Description: On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Business Analyst to work on a major SAP Modernization program - Testing Support.

Responsibilities:

• Process Model revisions and or creation of new S/4 HANA Process Models.
• Support the development of related test scenarios and scripts.
• Business Process Hierarchy (BPH) maintenance in Solution Manager and Azure Dev/Ops Alignment.
• Participate in functional area scrum meetings.
• Maintain business process expertise for their functional area(s) processes.
• Identify and prioritize changes required for BPH.
• Adhere to S/4 HANA Process Modeling Standards.
• Assist on Open Text, GRC, SAC process model creation and maintenance, when applicable.
• Help to identify functional interdependencies, when applicable.
• Support the Business Leads and Specialists for their respective process areas.
• Analyze as-is processes (if required) and interfaces to Client process gaps, identify functional interdependencies, derive improvement potentials, and frame any problems.
• Keep abreast of SAP trends and innovations for their respective process areas or functional areas that might impact deployment.

• Minimum of 5 years experience in SAP project delivery and/or a minimum of 5 years of experience as an SAP business analyst.
• Experience working in an agile IT project environment.
• Knowledge of integration points in the SAP ecosystem.
• Good knowledge of the difference between ECC and S/4 HANA system process modelling, and Business Process Modelling Notation and standards.
• Strong skills with Microsoft Office suite of products (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint).

• S/4HANA certifications in one or more Functional Areas and/or technologies.
• SAP Architectural experience.
• Knowledge of 3 or more SAP modules (Finance, Funds Management, Procurement/Ariba, Inventory Management, Plant Maintenance/Enterprise Asset management, GRC).
• Knowledge of process management in Solution Manager.
• Knowledge and/or experience in the following methodologies: project management, scrum, lean six sigma, change management (PROSCI).
