Cash Management & SWIFT Monitoring Analyst During the week, the team members work in staggered hours (11:30AM – 07:30PM). 12 months contract Montreal, QC (hybrid 3 days onsite)
The job position is in the Cash Management control tower team where the main activities are the monitoring and incident management of Cash Management, SWIFT and Monétique (payment cards' transactions) activities of client in Europe. This team is part of a bigger worldwide setup based in Singapore, Paris, Brussels, Lisbon and Montréal.
The main mission: ensure a 24/7 follow-up of all financial operations on highly critical banking applications in a “follow-the-sun” setup for cash management activities. Thus, working hours are from 11.30AM to 19.30PM during the week. Weekend shifts are required (every 2 weekends at the beginning).
The main activity at the beginning of the mission will be to monitor the transactions related to payment cards in Europe. Then after 4 months, the contingent workers are trained on others monitoring activities related to SWIFT and Cash Management transactions.
The main tasks of our monitoring activities are:
Follow working instructions for the monitoring tasks
Use the monitoring tools required for the activities
Based on the working instructions, detect alerts and call level 2 in a timely manner or report incidents and ensure follow-up.
Required skills/experience if possible: TRAINING AND OCCUPATIONAL EXPERIENCE
1 to 5 years’ experience either in the fields of IT or Application Support, banking operations/client service or Client Management (call-center...), functional monitoring.
A background on Cash Management and/or Swift would be considered as a strong asset.
University degree is a plus for the job.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
Knowledge on ticketing tools (like JIRA, Service Now...)
Basic knowledge on Information Systems and Technical/Functional architecture
Knowledge on financial messaging standards (SWIFT MT/MX, SEPA...) is a plus.
SOFT SKILLS
Strong communication skills (writing and oral) in English and in French if possible
Client focus: Ability to analyze and understand internal business users and to bring them support
