Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst - Level 2 to join our team in Fredericton. This 12-month engagement is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled individual to contribute to significant IM/IT projects using Agile methodologies. The successful candidate will bring extensive business analysis experience and a deep understanding of systems development life cycles.

Mandatory Requirements

Candidates must meet all the following qualifications:

1. Excellent written and spoken competence in English.
2. A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related discipline. Equivalent education and experience may be considered.
3. A minimum of 10 years of demonstrated experience in Information Management / Information Technology (IM/IT).
4. At least 5 years of business analysis experience in projects using the Agile methodology.
5. A minimum of 5 years' experience in the last 7 years as a Senior Business Systems Analyst, including involvement in requirements analysis, design activities, testing, and training.

Scored Requirements

The ideal candidate will also demonstrate expertise in the following areas:

1. 1+ year experience in the last 5 years in social services or case and care management business analysis.
2. 5+ years in the last 7 years coordinating, facilitating, and conducting requirements gathering sessions.
3. 5+ years in the last 7 years eliciting and documenting functional and non-functional business requirements.
4. 5+ years in the last 7 years analyzing functional requirements to identify information, procedures, and decision flows.
5. 5+ years in the last 7 years defining and documenting technical requirements for internal and external applications.
6. 5+ years in the last 7 years creating test cases, documenting traceability, defining test data needs, and executing test cases.
7. Current certification from a recognized professional business analysis association (e.g., IIBA, SAFe Agile).
8. 5+ years in the last 7 years working with tools such as Jira, Confluence, DevOps, and familiarity with Agile methodology.
9. Effective communication skills in French, both verbal and written (or verbal only), demonstrated with examples from previous work.
