The opportunity:

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Solution Architecture, the Business Analyst will perform in-depth business process requirements analysis, business process re-design, and translation of business-related requirements into effective system solutions, through configuration and/or development of enterprise solutions (e.g.: ERP) or any other tools/applications as needed. This position will also lead activities such as deployment of solutions, initiatives and projects support go-lives and day-to-day operations, analyzing and proposing tactical actions on special projects and supporting all recurrent projects. The BA will also support end users training on the system. This position will analyze and define process flows that optimize the data gathering and setup processes or that can help improve the experience of users responsible for material movements and related logistic processes.

The role:

  • Design, configure, develop and improve applications and business solutions to support inventory control and logistic processes in a Manufacturing environment where material traceability is a key component.
  • Act as the main reference to the team responsible for daily level 1 support of the JD Edwards’ (World and E1) inventory control and logistic applications.
  • Provide level 2 and 3 support of the JD Edwards (World and E1) inventory control and logistic applications including investigating and resolving complex user issues.
  • Lead and/or work within implementation teams oriented toward continuous improvement in projects which may include external consultants, on JDE or other software deployment.
  • Develop documentation and specifications.
  • Conduct reviews, walkthrough and solution testing to ensure that deliverables are achieved within accepted SDLC and PMO guidelines.
  • Conduct training and post-implementation support.

The requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree in business management or related areas.
  • Deep knowledge of JDEdwards EnterpriseOne Logistic suite (Inventory control, Sales Order management, Procurement and Transportation management). Experience with JDEdwards World is an asset.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Inventory management and logistic with emphasis on shipping documents in an environment relying heavily on international transactions with taxes, customs and legal implications.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English (Spanish and French are an asset).
  • Good interpersonal skills and desire to work with a wide variety of people.
  • Able to travel worldwide 10% of the time.
