Business Analyst - Data, Analytics & Insights

The Business Analyst will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions within the context of Artificial Intelligence (AI), data analytics, and insights generation. This position requires a blend of analytical skills, data privacy and security acumen in health context and a strong understanding of AI and data technologies.

1. Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops to gather and document business requirements related to AI, data, and insights.
2. Analyze existing systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization using AI and data-driven solutions.
3. Translate business requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications.
4. Create user stories, use cases, and process flow diagrams.
5. Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to understand data sources, data models, and data pipelines.
6. Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business decisions.
7. Develop reports and dashboards to visualize data and present findings to stakeholders in Looker and Looker Studio via Big Query.
8. Identify and address data Privacy and Security issues.
9. Participate in project planning and execution, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
10. Track project progress and communicate updates to stakeholders.
11. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data science, engineering, and business units.
12. Facilitate communication and collaboration between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
13. Create and maintain documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, and user guides.
14. Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for users on AI and data-driven solutions.
15. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in AI, data analytics, and business analysis.

1. Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or another cloud provider.
2. Proven experience as a Business Analyst.
3. Experience working with AI, data analytics, or business intelligence projects.
4. Confidence in communicating complex technical ideas to diverse audiences.
5. Advanced expertise in data analytics and visualization tools (Looker/Tableau), strong SQL skills, and experience with Vertex AI and Python.
6. Experience building data procedures and scheduling and orchestrating data pipelines.
7. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
8. Experience with the data offerings in Google Cloud Platform.
9. Strong understanding of health data.
10. Knowledge of cloud platforms (Google Cloud, AWS, Azure) and source control (GitHub).
11. Exposure to financial reporting.
12. Solid background in project management and the ability to communicate and influence stakeholders.
