The Business Analyst will serve as a critical liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams, responsible for gathering and translating business requirements into functional and technical documentation. This role also leads user acceptance testing (UAT), coordinates closely with cross-functional teams, and ensures alignment between business needs and system implementations. Ideal for an experienced BA with strong UAT, Agile, and stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities
Requirements Gathering & Analysis
- Engage with business stakeholders to gather and document detailed business and functional requirements.
- Translate business needs into actionable specifications for developers and architects.
- Conduct impact analysis on existing systems to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
Technical & Functional Collaboration- Serve as a liaison between business and IT teams to ensure shared understanding of goals and implementation.
- Collaborate with QA teams on test plans, data validation, and system functionality verification.
- Support technical teams in interpreting requirements for API-based and integrated systems.
User Acceptance Testing (UAT)- Develop and execute UAT plans, including writing test cases, coordinating testing sessions, and managing defects.
- Work directly with users to validate functionality, document issues, and support resolution.
Stakeholder Engagement & Documentation- Facilitate workshops, requirement walkthroughs, and sign-off sessions with stakeholders.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation such as process flows, user stories, data models, and wireframes.
- Support product demos, release planning, and post-deployment support as needed.
Best Practices & Continuous Improvement- Contribute to defining and refining business analysis standards and testing methodologies.
- Identify and recommend process improvements across the software development lifecycle.
Required Skills & Qualifications- 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in software development or technical projects.
- Strong experience with requirements gathering, documentation, and cross-functional coordination.
- Proven ability in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) — test planning, execution, and defect tracking.
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum frameworks; hands-on experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
- Understanding of system integrations, data flows, and API-driven environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical teams.
- Proficiency in SQL and data analysis (nice to have).
Preferred Qualifications- Certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or CSPO (Certified Scrum Product Owner).
- Experience working with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.
- Familiarity with DevOps environments and continuous delivery models.

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $41.61/hour - $65.01/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits.
