Business Analyst

We are currently recruiting for a Business Analyst to work at our headquarters in person at our office in Ottawa, ON.

What you will be doing…

As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in identifying business challenges, driving process improvements, and ensuring successful execution of business initiatives. You will work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to analyze business needs, develop solutions, and oversee implementation to ensure long-term success.

Some of your responsibilities include…

• Analyze business operations and identify areas for improvement, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and strategic priorities
• Engage with stakeholders to define business requirements, drive decision-making, and implement business transformation initiatives
• Facilitate process optimization efforts, ensuring operational efficiency and long-term scalability
• Lead business requirements gathering and solution development, ensuring business needs are effectively translated into actionable initiatives
• Support organizational change management, helping teams adopt new business processes and frameworks
• Oversee project execution from a business perspective, ensuring key deliverables align with business objectives and stakeholder expectations
• Monitor business performance and assess operational risks, providing recommendations for continuous improvement
• Act as a key liaison between business and technology teams, ensuring that solutions support business needs without unnecessary complexity

Your must-haves :

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar strategic role
• Proven track record of working with business SMEs and stakeholders
• Experience leading business process improvement initiatives
• Expertise in business analysis methodologies, including business modeling and stakeholder management
• Strong knowledge of change management best practices
• Ability to obtain a Secret-level security clearance
