About The Opportunity
Venor is proud to partner with WCB on their search for a new Business Analyst to join their growing team. Reporting to the Manager, Business Analysis, the Business Analyst provides critical analytical support to various projects and change initiatives at the WCB through data analysis, business process development and review, as well as research. The successful candidate will often participate as a project team member in various roles, from identifying and scoping improvement opportunities, to options and impact analysis, to developing recommendations for change, and implementing solutions for various subject matters. In addition, this position provides on-going operational support, and a liaison role by participating in the development, implementation and acceptance testing of operational changes. The position requires an ability to be able to translate the business needs into IT requirements and IT changes into business language as well as support the development and delivery of associated training materials.
General accountabilities include operational leadership, business processes, data analysis and project initiatives. The Business Analyst is accountable for identifying and scoping improvement opportunities, developing recommendations for change, and implementing solutions. They will be required to act as prime/lead for initiatives, in addition to functioning as a team member. The Business Analyst will be required to facilitate, guide and build relationships with both operational and corporate departments and external vendors to ensure the projects and initiatives are well executed in a timely, comprehensive and customer-focused manner.
