We are looking for a Business Analyst with experience in Customer Data Platforms (CDP) and marketing data management to join our Customer 360 team. This position will be instrumental in defining, managing, and reporting on customer and marketing metrics for McAfee’s Customer 360 (C360) initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in customer data management and a comprehensive understanding of the marketing domain, including lifecycle management, campaign processes, and multi-platform engagement.
This is a fully remote position within Canada, and we are currently only considering Canada-based candidates without relocation support.
About the Role:
Define and manage business requirements for customer and marketing metrics, including lifecycle management (adding, modifying, or retiring metrics) across marketing channels and platforms.
Analyze complex business challenges related to Customer 360 (C360) initiatives, developing automated solutions to enhance customer insights, marketing effectiveness, and data-driven decision-making.
Identify gaps in customer and marketing data integration, providing technical expertise to define business requirements for functional specifications.
Drive scalable solutions across new and existing C360 systems, processes, and procedures in a cost-effective manner.
Lead cross-functional teams across data, marketing, and analytics to address and resolve business or system-related challenges within the C360 ecosystem.
Develop top-level marketing and customer-centric metrics and document these definitions within the data dictionary.
Act as a subject matter expert on marketing systems, processes, and channels, including email, direct mail, digital ads, and placements.
Provide expertise in managing master data values, aligning with Adobe and Salient Platform standards, and supporting marketing goals.
Create and validate data mapping requirements, ensuring consistent customer and marketing data assets across CDP and Adobe tools.
Monitor datasets for significant changes that could impact campaign performance or engagement metrics.
Partner with Data Domain Product Owners to certify curated data for ADP, AEP, and ACS-driven marketing campaigns.
Conduct data analysis and reporting to inform marketing strategies and optimize engagement channels.
Collaborate with Technical Data Stewards to define data requirements, ensuring analytical tables and customer metrics are designed and implemented accurately.
Utilize marketing technology tools, including HighTouch and Databricks, to support data integration, transformation, and insights generation.
About You:
5 to 7 years in data analysis, business requirements, and data management, with proven experience in customer data and marketing analytics.
In-depth knowledge of Customer Data Platforms and experience with Adobe marketing tools, including ACS, ADP, and AEP or equivalent platforms.
Strong understanding of the marketing lifecycle, campaign processes, and experience with email, direct mail, digital ads, and placements.
Proficiency in business analysis, metrics development, and requirements definition with a marketing focus.
Hands-on experience with SQL for data querying and analysis.
Experience in data profiling, data dictionary development, and data cataloging.
Familiarity with data integration and transformation tools like HighTouch and Databricks is a plus.
Proficiency with data visualization tools like Power BI for marketing analytics and reporting.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data requirements into actionable business strategies.
Analytical mindset with a results-oriented approach to problem-solving.
Knowledge of data governance best practices and experience in developing data policies is a plus.
Preferred experience includes hands-on expertise with Adobe Campaign (ACS), Adobe Data Platform (ADP), Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), and data tools like HighTouch and Databricks.
