Our implementation team has an exciting opportunity for driven individuals, and we're looking for a BI Business Analyst who is passionate about providing segregated IT transformation for our clients. It is mission-critical for the BI Business Analyst to evolve into a conduit between BI and our clients, working cross-functionally to become a product expert and a client process advisor.

The BI Business Analyst role is project-driven and will support clients with the development of BI solutions for a wide array of Cayenta's products.

Responsibilities:

1. Analyze current requirements, design, and implement new and improved business processes
2. Improve and implement Business Intelligence infrastructure requirements
3. Facilitate communication with clients
4. Manage and work on multiple projects with multiple teams and stakeholders
5. Create portal statistics to meet client’s requirements
6. Provide clients with training on Cayenta's BI solutions
7. May perform other tasks as assigned

Desired Competencies:

1. Problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills. Must be able to analyze information to make independent decisions quickly and effectively
2. Excellent oral and written communication skills
3. Entrepreneurial Spirit, with a willingness to ‘roll up sleeves’ and work at all levels of a client organization
4. Experience working with both business and IT groups
5. Ability to work in a team environment
6. Experience with relational databases, BI Platforms (Business Objects, COGNOS, TM1, etc), OLAP, and Data Warehousing preferred
7. Experience working in MS SQL and Oracle including SQL knowledge
8. Must be able to successfully manage and complete multiple tasks within deadlines
9. Self-motivated, passionate, empathetic, approachable
10. Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Business Technology Management, or Management Information Systems preferred
11. Bonus: Experience within the Utility Industry

Reporting to: Director, Professional Services
Works Closely with: Operations Group, Key Clients, and BI

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: competitive and commensurate with experience, salary expected between $60,000.00 CAD - $70,000.00 CAD
