Our advanced tools and AI-powered software precisely monitor and measure electricity, gas and water usage across buildings and deliver data-based insights to conserve natural resources and optimize maintenance. Ultimately, Greenwave clients benefit from lower operating costs, reduced risk, improved safety and an improved environmental footprint.

Greenwave has created proven processes and built our in-house IP while forming a solid client base in our home province of Saskatchewan. As we look to replicate this success throughout Canada and beyond, we are seeking a reliable Business Administration Manager to drive our internal business operations.

Your key objective

Manage and execute Greenwave’s internal business operations including accounts payable & receivable, bookkeeping, IT admin and HR programs on schedule.

What you’ll do

  1. Prepare and post accounts receivable (invoicing) and accounts payable
  2. Manage bookkeeping administration through Quickbooks
  3. Deliver employee HR programs: post payroll, administer benefits
  4. Administer internal IT systems including Microsoft Suite, Sharepoint, LastPass
  5. Conduct employee onboarding programs, including computer & IT set up and systems training
  6. Continuously update financial documents to deliver reporting for cashflow, budgeting and forecasting purposes
  7. Maintain customer contract records, including invoicing and renewal tracking
  8. Manage vendor contracts and internal business services
  9. Manage and administer reporting for government funding programs
  10. Prepare tax remittance with support from third-party accounting firm
  11. Review & coordinate annual insurance renewals
  12. General office administration and executive assistance duties

What you’ll bring

  1. 3+ years administrative experience, including bookkeeping and IT systems
  2. Familiarity with Quickbooks or similar programs considered a strong asset
  3. Familiarity with Microsoft Suite required
  4. Familiarity with Hubspot or similar CRM programs considered an asset
  5. Knowledge of accounting best practices considered a strong asset
  6. Exceptional organizational skills
  7. Attention to detail
  8. Strong written and verbal communication skills
  9. A self-starter approach to building out processes and executing responsibilities
  10. A comfort working in a fast-paced, high growth, constantly evolving and entrepreneurial business environment
  11. A curiosity and willingness to learn
  12. A high degree of integrity and trustworthiness
  13. A positive “let’s figure this out” attitude in alignment with our team-first mentality
