$26.86 to $29.53 hourly. Salary and wage increments are in accordance with the Collective Agreement.

  • A minimum of six months’ work experience in a related field.
  • Excellent interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills including written and verbal fluency in the English language.
  • A demonstrated ability to:
    • interact effectively and tactfully with people of various backgrounds and cultures, including students, college employees and the broader community.
    • develop, establish and maintain good working relationships.
    • work as an effective team member.
    • use a wide variety of tools and equipment including power drills, power washers and wet/dry vacuum cleaners.
    • perform physical work related to routine janitorial duties and building maintenance.
    • read basic schematics for locating electrical outlets, related breakers and panels.
  • This part-time, temporary position is available starting May 19, 2025 to May 15, 2026.
  • Regular hours of work will be scheduled Mondays from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm.
  • Shift days and times may change depending on operational needs.
  • The position is located at the Coquitlam campus.
