Broker/Account Executive Trade Credit

This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our local office.

What the day will look like

• Manage a portfolio of client’s by providing day-to-day client servicing.
• Responsible for all aspects of client service for assigned book of business including billing, policy collection, review, and transmittal in accordance with established departmental service standards.
• Assist Account Managers on business development opportunities within new and existing accounts including prospecting and underwriter and client interactions.
• Help drive innovation, technical expertise, client retention by replicating effective products/solutions to develop broking opportunities and productive business relationships with key insurance underwriters.

Performing other duties as assigned.

How this opportunity is different

As a Broker with Aon's Credit Solutions team, you will negotiate with Underwriters for the best terms, conditions and competitive pricing for existing and new clients. The successful candidate will be working alongside an experienced team of colleagues with a variety of backgrounds, ranging from account management, broking, claims advocacy, and specialty brokers to bring the best of Aon to our clients. Aon has over 550 trade credit specialists around the world, placing over 30 percent of global trade credit premiums.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

• 3 to 10 years of Trade Credit insurance experience or commercial insurance experience in a similar role.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Trade Credit insurance marketplace, products, and servicing requirements for large multinational clients.
• French / English bilingualism is required due to the frequent interactions with clients, colleagues, or partners based in Quebec, other Canadian provinces and/or internationally.
• AMF licensed in Quebec.
• This position requires a driven and experienced self-starter who possesses strong analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional client relationship management capabilities with first-class communication and presentation skills.
• Proven experience working in a high-pressure professional environment.
• An innovative and collaborative approach with a team player mentality.
• Strong organization skills and the ability to prioritize under pressure of competing deadlines.
