Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our brand, providing exceptional customer service and driving sales through effective communication and product knowledge. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will engage with customers to understand their needs, assist them in finding the right products, and ensure a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities

  1. Greet customers warmly and provide assistance throughout their shopping experience.
  2. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining cash register integrity.
  3. Utilize effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods.
  4. Upsell products by understanding customer needs and recommending complementary items.
  5. Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor by restocking merchandise as needed.
  6. Provide technical sales support for specific products, ensuring customers are informed about features and benefits.
  7. Address customer inquiries with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette when necessary.
  8. Collaborate with team members to achieve store sales goals and enhance overall customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  1. Previous experience in high end retail sales is preferred.
  2. Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail.
  3. Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  4. Proven upselling techniques that contribute to increased sales performance.
  5. Familiarity with technical sales is a plus, particularly for electronics or specialized products.
  6. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with customers and team members.
  7. A passion for retail sales and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
  8. Able to lift 20lbs and kneel as required during performance of duties.
  9. Hand sewing is an asset.
  10. Ability to contribute to social media posts within the store.

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

  1. Secondary School (preferred)
